Ok, the universe is likely a computer of some sort. And I noticed that programming 3d rotation is a rather tricky multi-step operation, like you have to translate to the origin, rotate one axis to zero, apply the rotation, then unrotate and untranslate (that's probably wrong but the point is it is lots of steps). Yet I can twirl one finger around the other, and the universe doesn't "care" about the computation involved. It is rotating every single atom in my whole hand with no slowdown. Do you know how many atoms there are in my hand? Not only that, it is rotating whole planets, whole galaxies. It doesn't seem to give a fuck about having to change algorithms to be more efficient, and maybe wouldn't even strain when confronted with a turing undecidable problem like the halting problem. But my hypothesis was that if you can cram enough computation into a small enough geometric area, you can cause LAG in the universe! So I got hundreds of spools of fishing line, record players and blenders and started rotating them all at the same time surrounded by a circle of computers that were factoring numbers. I laid down on the floor and put the lower half of my body inside this circle and did a humping motion, and it worked. The lag made the lower half of my body move slower than the upper half and I was finally able to suck my own dick, the true hidden goal of any scientific work. |

I just thought of something else. There is something called a "model organism". They are species that were doomed into extensive testing like mice and fruit flies "when human experimentation would be unethical". So once the artificial life with artificial brains are created, guess which species will be the new model organism? Humans. Their artificial brains might even be based on ours after the human connectome project, so we are prime test subjects to figure out how they tick "when machine experimentation would be unethical".
