Hey I was just about to say that mayo thing AMinal lol! I just saw a travel show today that was about amsterdam and around that area. the host bought a large serving of fries like...buried under inches of mayo! It kinda looks good..but thats GOTTA be bad for the heart.

Yeah, Belgium massive. I think Belgium is the only country where they have something as a mcdonalds but exclusively for chips (french fries). It's called "frietkoten". :) Every village, no mather how small has at least one 'frietkot' Wicked!
And I like mayonaise as well as ketchup on them. :)

I only eat McDonalds fries, and I NEVER put ketchup on them. I just coat them in copious mounds and mounds of artery plugging salt. They're white by the time I'm done. I always get salt everywhere when I'm eating that shit.
Fish and chips is amazing, best food in the world.

Ick, I don't care if ketchup is good for me or not... I'm not concerned about my diet, I have a very bad one! :-) I just hate the taste of ketchup. And anytime I see someone eating that green ketchup... blech, I feel like I'm going to projectile vomit...

since being here in Amsterdam you realize how fucked and unhealthy chips are in England.
i've heard chipshops in Engl;and dont allow the fat to heat up enough so thats why you get floppy soggy chips

There's a fish and chips shop in Halifax by my cousins house, I shake and get tense when I think about it. It's THAT good. I can't wait to go up there this summer. I'd go there for breakfast, dinner and supper.

I don't go to chip shops anymore, the chips tend to be too greasy....too much fat! Although I do occassionally have fries from KFC or Burger King when I go into town..
