Do you smoke tobacco, do you smoke weed, do you smoke
vapour things?

Thanks in advance, really important.

I gave up tobacco by swimming, waring out my lungs for an
hour swimming when i got out the pool i could not smoke.
went home watched comedy lying down ate good food, i did
this a few times eventually after practicing giving up, i
gave up permanently and don’t think about it at all.

Tobacco and vapeing is the dumbest shit ever, all it makes
you do is want more of it because your idiot animal brain
wants more nicotine.

I used to smoke cigarettes. That is some dumb, dumb shit.
Fuck, all the rationalizations your idiot self comes up with
to not stop doing it. Madness.

Might smoke weed again sometime... I'm a weed pushover. I
just need one or two puffs and I'm zoned out. And after I
don't want it again for a long time.

It's an age old tradition which I love. Been smoking for
more than half of my life, naturally I'm a little concerned
about the effect on my health. My doctor tells me I show
very early symptoms of asthma. But yet, I still conitnue to
smoke.

I love that feeling of smoke entering my lungs and then
pwfooo out it goes. Holding it between my fingers, zoning
out for a bit, thinking, contemplating like I'm some deep
dude. Can't beat it. It's a good social tool, I've had many
a good conversation with complete strangers I wouldn't have
otherwise had were it not for sharing a smoke together.

Tried e-cigs/vaping for a day, made my throat tickle. Didn't
like it. Like Collin Farrell in True Detective says, it's
like sucking a robot's dick.

I've stopped smoking after 24 years solid. I still enjoy the
odd spliff, especially with my condition.

I tried vapeing a few years back and hated it. I did get
myself a newer model for now though and I quite enjoy it.
It's like a mini light sabre too. I get the organic
flavours, though obviously the tastes are less intense.

What I really don't miss is the tar.

I see what you mean about the throat tickling, Portnoise.

The best thing about those robot cocks is the crafty little
puff you can take in while at the supermarket...

I'm more addicted to the act of smoking than the nicotine.
I've managed to quit for weeks/months, after the nicotine
has completely left my body. The psychological need far
exceeds the physical one, at least for me. I generally smoke
light cigarettes. My partner smokes too, we are a bad
influence on one another.

As for weed, well, I've talked about it a lot on here. I
don't have any excuses for smoking it, I just like it and I
suppose my brain chemistry is used to going to that place
and finds it comforting. I'm socially very awkward and weed
just exacerbates that. So generally I don't enjoy smoking
with people I don't know very well. It also makes me a
little agoraphobic, but I don't mind since I have plenty of
things to keep occupied indoors, only problem is when I run
out of cigarettes or food or something while I'm high.

That awkwardness and the way weed magnifies it is one of the
reasons I haven't smoked it for ages.. and nowadays I don't
have any smokers in my social circle any more. I wouldn't
mind having a puff by myself and listening to music though.
Maybe if and when the new Canadian government legalizes it
and I can buy some at the corner shop..

Weed without tobacco once every two weeks at least.

Smoked weed for over twenty years every day with tobacco

Smoked tobacco for 25 years. My kids made me stop

After 15 years of smoking weed daily, I gave up as I found I
just didn't enjoy it anymore. All I felt was the bad aspects
of it, the lethargy, moodiness and paranoia. In fact I gave
everything up at the same time (I had developed a pretty
regular coke habit) as I only smoked cigarettes when it
wasn't convenient to smoke weed.

Went cold turkey and despite some FUCKED UP dreams for a
month or so, I found it piss easy. Although not being a
drinker at the time, I kind of turned to that for amusement,
so now I'm obviously a bordeline alcoholic nine years on,
but at least my lungs aren't getting worse.

I think once I finished destroying my liver I'll turn to
heroin and ruin what is left of me.

young age, im smoked some weed, but it doesnt effect me like
other people, i looked permanently stoned anyway

I've drastically cut down weed for similar reasons. I have
the odd spliff in the evening, and sometimes use it for
medicinal purposes. 90% cut down.

I was mistaking weed for a crutch, all while I was becoming
it's bitch.

what i always feel with weed is the people who are dead set
against it are the people who would greatly benefit from it

Yeah, I got to the point when I was smoking weed at work, in
my breaks, and it just dawned on me what a slave I was to
it, risking my job was lunacy. I think I was so stoned all
the time I needed coke to pick me up and a fair few times I
turned up completely out of it. Mental looking back on it. I
couldn't honestly say I enjoyed it.

I don't miss either really, although the odd toke now and
again would be enjoyable. I miss the elements of fun from
it, the focus and creativity in what you enjoy was great,
but in excess it didn't hold the same fun.

Good on you for cutting back though, the hardest part is
making the decision. Sticking by it comes easier as you
recognise its benefits.

All in all, anything other than occassional use of anything
I think just points to compensating for something else
missing missing in peoples lives. It's never the answer,
just a comfort blanket.

I smoke cigarettes when I'm out. Never feel the need to
sober, but it's a real habit that kicks in after even a beer
or two. I gotta stop that.

Don't smoke weed much, when I do it's like what fleet mouse
said, a few drags and I can barely even keep up with
conversation thanks to getting stuck in some stupid
introspective thought pattern that goes on and on. I still
struggle to say no in that situation though.

Diagnosis: no will power

I smoke when ever someone has tobacco, but I'm trying to
stop doing that because it pisses people off that I don't
buy it.

I have a variable voltage Ecigg and I use creamy custard
flavours mostly. I find it takes the edge off and it's
pretty harmless i think.

The only problem with Eciggs, is that your brain gets bored
of firing the same neuerons to generate the flavour and it
ends up tasting like a stale pork soup or something

I don't mind giving out cigarettes but they are pretty
expensive these days. Usually I can smell your kind and just
say no ;) It's almost like going out for beers and expecting
other people to buy your beers for you.

(HIPPY CIGS) when offered one.

The problem is, I don't mind smoking 1 or 2 ciggs, but if i
buy a pouch then i will smoke it all too quickly

I have a plan to do a THC extraction and make a tincture to
put into some eliquid to smoke descretely and safely, I
think it's actualy good for you if anything

weed

first tried it a couple times in 97 when i was 17. once i
graduated at 18 tho became more regular, like every weekend.
then it was off and on months here months there. until 04
when i moved to vegas and it became daily, save for a week
or two here and there. and probably since about 08 i'd say
i'm definitely stoned more than i'm not, like nearly all day
errday.

cigs

not even once. that shit'll kill ya. my dad was a smoke guy
and i hated that shit as a kid smoke would follow me no
matter where i went in the house.

vape

is for wannabe faggots

I wouldn't mind one of those for smoking weed.

As for rollies, they stain my fingers when I smoke them
regularly. I always have a pouch at hand though.

Weedwise I prefer sativa over indica. I love a skunk joint
once in a while, but it blows my friggin head wide open, so
I tend to smoke a nice strain of swazi sativa. My good old
faithful.

ah, that makes sense. Yes, I think I like to hold it close
to the end. I have small fingers, maybe that has something
to do with it, dunno :) Another contributing factor is that
I don't use filters (I know, it's not good)
