i sold my hard disks for food when i was in london, there was all the music i dl'ed since i have an internet connection, a shit move since they gave me only 5 pounds, but i was hungry. i remember the first thing i bought was a banana. anyway, i would make a good use of them right now, i could reply to this thread properly for example |

No volunteers giving away free food? I remember be that skint, was able to get free meals from the hari krishna, occasionally washing a few dishes for my meal. Now in the city there a volunteers also serving free food for those in need. Also did the dumpster dive once upon a time too. Sorry for diverting the thread, but I feel food is a basic necessity, that in this day/age, we should all have access too. Especially if we can't afford it. |

i haven't met any volunteer, i've been on the street only for a month though. i was searching for a place where to sleep and i went to an association, can't remember the name, that someone told me was helping people out. but when i asked for a bed they told me they were taking in only people that volunteers meet on the street, i said hey, i'm sleeping at waterloo station |

but they didn't take me. so i asked can i have something to eat, they gave me some sandwich, then i left. apart that time i searched trashes, asked to eat for free at shops, picked vegetables at the end of markets. i don't remember suffering too much hunger |
