while psychiatrist can recognize and prescribe drugs for a
mental disease with accuracy, psychologists and
psychoanalysis are generally useless, tryin to guess stuff
about you basing on the things you tell them and expressing
views based on their own view/experience of life.

if you need a better person to speak with you might as well
ask your mum

The human mind is probably the most subjective thing you can
have a discussion about, having said that those geese/ducks
look like they are frozen in a giant ice cube.

That's absolute bullshit.

Yes, a psychiatrist is a doctor, unlike a psychologist, and
can prescribe medication.

I don't think you realise how long it takes to study just to
get your psychology degree.

Also, of course interpretation based on the therapist's own
life is sometimes going to be made. What do you want, a
robot, or someone who can relate?

I wouldnt dismiss the entire profession of psychology, it
does seem to still be in a formative stages of development
though, like how chemistry developed from alchemy. One of
the problems seems to be the difficulty of getting empirical
measurements unlike the other more established sciences, i
think it will get there but the human mind is so inherently
complex it will take some time, just my thoughts.

maybe you have constructive experiences to share? i spoke to
some of them in the last ten years, and while i'm aware that
none of them could have related with the experiences i did
in my life, i can clearly say that the most of them were
charlatans.

Psychiatrists nor Psychologist were able to help me to get
laid. Am I asking for too much from these two professions?

lol. fo realz. you got therapists who study for years and
years, they got their degree, their got their paid job, but
when you watch them you're not mistaken, they have had a
worse sexual life than you. in this they help.

Shamanism should be funded on the NHS for this kind of thing

on internet shamanism, i refer you to this thread. the
gist of it is to type something like "fig 41a" or "fig 12"
into google image search, and then, if something interesting
comes up... post it. but, really, what makes any particular
technical diagram interesting? if you can get a handle on
that, well, you're off on a new chase, searching for "tiger
schematic" or however you've interpreted this particular
rorschach.
