they have become a latter day myth. the story is well documented but nobody even at the time even if you were a fan remembers or is able to mentally pace NOW what really happened. just like any dead musician hollis may aswell be buried 6 feet under nobody knows what where why happened. but.. the muso obsesion with TT is for me for almost everyone here certainly for the media (now) a chronic wankfest of total beuaty AND ironically as nobody fucking touched them at the time after colour of spring at the time, proof that at least they did something right. i used to cry over the spriit of eden and spent years (when i thought it was worth doing) shoving this amazing album down ppls throats only last year have i changed my mind to put laughing stock in front of spirit but i'd both give them 10/10. and even colour of spring is a 9. they arent he only 80s band that sound better now. or any genre. quality will always shine. hollis is a genius. |
