cobbled together refugee rafts made out of blue plastic
barrels

Well it finishes in 'nic'...

This ship sank long ago. The few left are hybrid creatures.

I must be like a ancient, decrepit moray eel with a gammy
eye and gelatinous fins

pure.

let's be honest, everytime we think about electronic music
we end up thinking about the past

"Phuture sound" is pretty hard to grasp in that, new things
are often based on old things. For the newest of new genre
defining electronic music to be created, it has to reference
some new image of what the phuture holds. Everything is so
high tech now that we are indeed "in the future", but the
most next level shit prolly doesn't even sound like
electronic music. Or if one wants to make phuture sounds
based on the current state of things, post-"new world order"
sounds might be appropriate. In that sense Atari Teenage
Riot is phuture as fuck-- using old tech due to new tech
being oppressed, yelling about oppressive governments and
trying to awaken listeners to fight for freedom.

I'm not despising things that are based on things of the
past, on the contrary, would like to hear more of that!

What i was trying to say is that i'm having a hard time
finding something actually playable more than once, see:
music that hits, music with soul.
