even more notable than the abundance of narcotics in america
is the attitude that alcohol, cigarettes, and certain pills
don't count

The most fucked up think ive seen when ive been there is the
advertisements for prescription medicine, thats really
fucked up large scale, "may make you shit your kidneys out,
then death we are not legally responsible"

everyone was really nice and friendly there, but you feel
this tension under the surface there at times, weird

you know that legal fine print at the end of the
commercials? read aloud in a quiet voice, a bit north of
160wpm? if that part's not longer than the ad itself, then
the pill's almost certainly not any good

it was a bit of a culture shock, how many people are hooked
on unnecessary prescription meds over there, and yes the
legal disclaimer is criminal in my estimation, how anyone
can say thats a reasonable way to do things is beyond me, I
love America though amazing place and people, the best and
worst of the world collide

Talking about meds, Hyperflake, and not liking british TV
shows; I've started watching Utopia, and it's pretty
good so far (3 episodes in, there's only 12 spread on two
seasons).

It's a shame they never finished it in those two seasons.
Channel 4 did not order another more to make room for other
shows, apparently . Although, the open ended ness of the
ending does work, I think the writer said that there was at
least more material for two more seasons, or a feature
length, none of which has been funded as of yet. Doesn't
seem likely that it will. 2 seasons was fine though really,
but more would be nice :)

I hope you have good ql episodes, it looks great in HD.

Started watching 'Humans' after that. Look forward to
catching up when we get back. It's quite good, not as good
as Utopia though, a little on the standard side but still
worth a watch if you're not too serious about your
entertainment.

Apologies for the poor grammar in that previous post. My
English seems to be getting worse :-/

been doing lots of wing chun & qi-gong during the past 3
years, met the most wonderful girl there :) started training
kids a year ago, been toying around with pixel art gaming,
as the fashionable retro nerd nowadays does. trying to ever
finish that shmup i started 3 years ago. generally having a
good pastime, cooking for the girl and watching dr who &
adventure time after training. dancing madly at local drum &
bass and noise shows. distorted my ankle rollerskating by
the river last week. anyone know how to fix up the skates to
stabilize the ankle? enjoying aphex´s and cn´s recent
outputs.

True :) I especially like the murderous prostitute droid,
even though I'm generally inclined towards darker haired
androids.

The show has some good actors in it too, William Hurt, the
fellows from Utopia, little fingers brothel helper and that
other guy and that other girl.

^ yeah the blonde one, id expand her serial port and not
mistake. yeah i had to look it up to check it was william
hurt, wont be long until we see an American version which
should be really easy to cast as alot of the pearly teeth
actors already look like androids to begin with

eating my own shit, replying to idiots on messageboards and
dealing with the discrepancy on a daily basis of the 300%
markup of fucking pub beer against off license and never
getting a fucking decent answer as to why.

it was just for fun i guess. maybe because of the situation,
what with my best friend's funeral and all, i was kinda
thrown off by the opportunity itself. the whole thing with
her was what kicked off that two week bout of severe
depression. i wanted to springboard into something more
because like idk i was feeling like destiny and fate was
lining up for us. there's the old cliche about making the
best out of a bad situation. but she's just another slut
from my hometown, hence why it's been 17 years. people don't
change. fuck that place. maybe i'm wrong and i'm just being
paranoid, but the phone works both ways. idk, there's a lot
more to it. i'm over it. we're still on good terms but i'm
not holding my breath. anything can happen tho.

since i'm well bored...

Portnoy, it is a shame about Utopia. I've got 5 episodes to
go.

Crazone, in my initial reply to you there's a link. Might
not work anymore.

My girlfriend finds nearly all my hobbies to be those of
children, ijonspeeches. One day I guess I'll just explode,
and kill her I guess.

Hey Atwood! Let's catch up one day! How's lover boy?

Be careful with what you ask for, Dan!

It's capitalism not common sense I guess, ddrumms. More
middlemen, a pub to run, more bills than an offy would get.
Ask LOL.

You'll be reborn pretty soon, EVOL, new love, new job, new
music to make and to listen to, new opportunities, new
outlook. I just feel it. Thanks for answering the really
important questionnaire I prepared fro Hyperflakes.

I saw you asked me to oblige, Hyperflakey, but I just can't
get my head around the album bit. I wear t-shirts, jumpers,
coats, trousers, trainers... I also love Kubrick, Lynch... I
tell you what though, I've always hated Aronofsky.

EVOL,

same stuff myself recently. i've become fond of the phrase
"my ghost is whispering to me," then i got to the end of
your post and saw Ghost In The Shell TV series. so there it
is again, indulging me by turning my explanation of that
shit into a functional example of itself. i don't like the
phrase "go with the flow," because that sounds entirely
passive, like you just take whatever comes your way and make
no decisions of your own. it's more like dancing to music...

i'm sorry, i was being mean af in my last post. that milf
isn't a slut. i'm just frustrated and lost. she is the total
package, literally everything i ever asked for... there's
really no reason for the 17 year absence other than people
living their lives. she's got everything together and i
don't, we're worlds apart. and well, the biggest obstacle is
that it's all in my mind. i know better. anyways, fingers
crossed! lol
