LAZY_TITLE

just sharing our (me+friend) last tune,
triphopish featuring hang and metalophone
lowered one octave
over electronic beats + horn melodies

i hope you'll like!

I do like it, thanks for those 4 minutes! (and then came
some retape track and ruined the mood, fucking soulless acid
bullshit)

Sorry retape, nothing personal, just can`t stand that 303
sound, doesn`t do anything for me emotionally, just pisses
me off

it's a bit sad,

[ especially towards the end when that horny [!] melody
comes [for a moment I thought something like a quiet
background saxophone vst solo in left channel would fit
there] ]

- but goes well with morning coffee [I'll try it later with
tea, too]. I like the flow.

stopped it myself before something else would come to ruin
the mood ;P

nice. im trying to suggest to a lot of people that they use
less snares. feel this might be nice without the beats?

interesting that you say this, ampi, im currently working on
a tune which i erased all the beats, as im a bit tired of
always doing drum-driven tunes...

this one linked here works better with the snare, i think,
tho..

analog&digital maybe

oh..

i would go all analogue if i could or have enough people
playing instruments. in the meanwhile i have to stay with
digitally making some parts...

contact me if you live in barcelona and play drums or bass
or percussion or something!

Also thinking about getting a 303 clone for basslines

well as far as can understand Hilander and as far as I
remember you've always experimented with "acoustic"
[=analogue/lo-fi] sounds: either vocals or some acoustic
instruments sampled into electronic environment....usually
with a cool effect. dunno if you need to go that fashionable
"old gear" way ;) imo

btw what "midi helpers" you use, if any ? "if" but I think
most of people still making music on their pc's use them.

yes, i guess you are right, obbie, ive always liked to
explore the hidden possibilities of acoustic recordings,
even i if ive always had to restrict that due to my
unability to play any instrument (until now). The 303 is
just a thing ive always liked, its sound, and i think it
would make a nice combination with the hang.

The rest is all Reason.

i hope so!
but well, i already got another synth and a beat box that i
don't use too much, its so much easier and faster on a
computer...

yea, totally agree, i thought of that too when i was making
it, thats why i wasnt convinced about the beat, but well, we
fit the rest in there, so i couldnt bother to change it
after all...
