fun times

6 years since my friend killed himself (still have him on
facebook so his b-day just cropped up) [last week]

9 yrs since my friend died of leukemia (her sister just did
a charity swim and mentally we're gonna have a 40th b-day
party for her next year) [2 days ago]

my closest friend's father died on sunday [not sudden but
co-incidental and i knew him well]

let's add a friend of mine is undergoing chemo [after
another friend of ours died the same time 2 yrs ago of the
same thing]

i understand more shit happens when you get older but
really...

is this what i have to look forward to? 3 million funerals,
my knees are now fucked [that's happened this year], this
slow bullshti deterioration and depression that will get
worse? what's the fucking point? seriously? no wonder i'm an
alchololic.

word has it that an elliptical machine is gravy for those
with knackered knees

I totally understand your dilemma. Everything is useless in
the end, for now I'm just enjoying the ride I guess.
Life is to short to even bother about these philosophical
questions imo, they're just spoiling it for me. It makes me
depressed, very unhappy and it makes me a selfish asshole.
I'm trying not to think about death and try to make a
living, just because it's possible, death is forever, life
only once.

some of us are getting to an age were parents and relatives
could be checking out soon, there is no easy way of dealing
with it, just try to keep focused on your own life and plans

Elliptical for s good for the knee, but so is regular
exercise, a healthy diet, and a foam roller to kneed out
that IT band etc.

We're mortal, and we're here to experience life. Many of is
are waiting to die. Life is not easy sometimes.

humans = birth --> death

that's all that comes to my rude mind, sorry. no
explanation, is there

I could tell you [and myself] that's gonna change during our
lifetime and we're gonna live forever - but don't quote me
on that.

stay sane

That's a bad piece of road. Hope you find some good things
too. Sometimes you have to remind yourself to look for them.

In all seriousness ive been asking myself similar questions
of late, i think there are many individual answers to many
varied scenarios, personally I identify most with what
crazone says,
