I think the last album was mostly good, but his earlier stuff (except for a few tracks) is nothing for me. I know some hate his last album. Can't understand why...

People don't like him because he gets more attention than others with more talent than him. Also, he's religious and pro-nature, that can turn many people agains him. I don't hate him but I don't think his music is interesting.

I respect the man and his views, and of the fact he plays so many $^$%^# instruments.
Well, eversense I'd gotten into IDM(similar styles) a long time ago. I've neglected what I use to listen to when I was new to the genre(prog, trance, house, etc) For that reason alone, I don't really listen to Moby anymore. Though, he's a great artist to listen to for a beginner.

i think it's because he's such a sell-out. i think all of the tracks on the "play" album appeared either on tv shows or adverts. he said it was the best way for him to spread his music to people, but i think all that money also had to do something with it.
the music i dont mind really. some of his tracks are really good, especially the piano ones and "polrcelain". but ive only heard "play".
i also get the impression that moby tries too hard to look deep/wise.

he seems like a nice guy, and while I'm not gonna judge his music cause I haven't heard enough to do so, his new song is pretty crappy imo... some of Play, that I heard, was alright though...

I don't think Moby's a sellout--I heard he gave the money from the play commercial to charities. I don't particularly care for his stuff--but some of it is good!

I'm learning to sit on the back steps forever, and never look at the same piece of in front of me more than once it's a slide perspective projector if you will and where's that get me? That's right, back in bed, when I was six and everything was carpets and toys, I threw up on them but I made myself an adult's life and found my father's forehead wrinkles to be just where did his childhood go and then I appreciate more of what I choose to make the distant ones so yeah then that will be the first slide!!!!!!!!!11THE BARON HAS SPOKEN!!!!
