I found a lossless stream of this on my streaming
subscription (Wimp Hifi) and gee what a nice little rhythmic
masterpiece it is. There´s no melody, just this intense,
complex, stereophonic rhythmic mayhem that is best served as
loud as possible. As a friday night stress relief it
certainly works like magic. I guess Lipswitch was
overshadowed by labelmates Autechre releasing one of their
masterpieces - Confield - just a few months later, but I
really think it deserves some acclaim in its own right.

Jesus, I'm so sorry about the typo in the topic title! It's
Lipswitch and NOT LipsTwitch

I care for his music so much that I didn't notice the typo.

His thing is definitely about technicality, it seems.

Could you recommend me something, I haven't listened to any
of his output in many years.

quite an overlooked album this..and his live show around
that time was one of the best i heard until this day..and i
heard many

having said that, i don't really care much about what he's
been up to in recent years..it's all too abstract for my
current likings

I do like some richard devine...but honestly...he makes the
same track/album over and over and over again. It all sound
exactly the same. even all the synth demos/sample packs he
does for companies. you wouldn't be able to tell if it was
from synth X or Y.
The same technical glitch.

asect dsect was a very good album though. he should've
stopped doing what he does there and explore new
territories.
