Hi guys, been a long time, hope everyone is well I would like to ask you something: Whats the easiest software to compose music like vaporware or something like that?
Ive been playing guitar for a long time, but I always find very difficult to compose with computer because of the lack of immediacy.
Thank you

hah my hungover brain read it like he was searching for software to make music in the genre of "vaporware"...
slint, you should try reaper, and download the freeware synths from psychic modulation and togu audio line. that should give you a good boost.

It's a vaporwave btw, I don't have anything to say about reactor. Just noticed my choice of symbol could have been misguiding. Blog1

i dont know either! I just want to sample stupid italian tv shows and make something out of it.
Something not very original that won't change the world!
But I'm really listening to a lot of James Ferraro and Vektroid lately, and listening to them makes me feel like "hey I could do that too!"
While when I'm listening to Autechre and Aphex Twin my self esteem goes down!
So I'll start with Ableton or Reaper and check for an Akai mpc (is it probably the thing DJ Rashad uses to make all those rythmic stuff with samples???)
Thanks everyone

If you have a Mac, Garageband should be installed. You can record your telly onto it and then play around with your recordings, and edit them. It's really simple, but not really favoured by electronic musicians I think.

if yr into wave editing and chopping shit up (burroughs burrowing borrowing and messing with shit) look into binaural mics and if you want to really fuck about some sort of mannequin head to move about. i used to go with minidisc (ATRACK compression was well underrated for some reason) but it'll be easy enough to get it in full wav/flac/etc and usb whatever ye collect. think sensational using headphones as mics, flipped 180 in hd
