I was really startin to wonder if he had given the whole album thing up, I am pleasantly suprised about the double disk, windowlicker was good, but of course so short. This album will most likely be released somwhere around my discharge date from the military, making it automaticly my favorite album regardless of whats on it, but knowing Mr James and the direction his work had taken in the field of digital workings, i think i will be awestruck either way. Lookin forward to it.... |

The album name was originally "Drugs" but he changed the name to "Drukqs" because the name was too offensive (the prounanciation is drugs though). The album contains all the tracks from melodies from mars except for "fingerbib and "logon rock witch" 5 ambient type of tracks (that SAW 2 sound) and the rest is analouge bubblebath unreleased tracks from different recordings (plus 2 new tracks that just sound like noise and effects). Aphex Twin will also release a album under his aka Caustic Window on Rephlex Records this year. |

Erm, like I already kept telling peoples, I knew hed still come out with another album, and here it is, finally. I truly think that this album shall wake up the sleeping peoploids about who truly is the ruler and king of the whole electronica scene, hes not gonna release any old crap, he waited and waited until this time to keep everyone guessing, and watch my words, this album shall blow everything released within the last 2 years or so and the the 2 years afterwards away due its total brilliance, its not an absolute , but this is Aphex Twin we're talking about here, he waited till the others released all their stuff this year and is now gonna go for the so-called kill and show em all whose BOSS!!!!Remember, this man has the hardest reputation to live upto since hes generally known as the most prolific and wizardlike electronic artist of the 1990's, and hes got an EGO of IMMENSE proportions!!! |
