once, tripping, i was working on a track, and took a break
for dinner. flangers had been in my ears, and remained
there. when i bit into an overcooked pork chop, i had the
sensation of a flange wave was passing through me -- through
a nexus point in my teeth. the wavelength was a tad over ten
feet long. i liked how i got a very physical sense of it, as
if it were a real object with a specific shape and
dimension. the pork chop angle was cool, too.

so, yeah, good interview. typing is pretty shit, though,
wonder if wavephace was involved

'so I try to put sooo many layers and details into it so
that I can never remember in my head when listening, EXACTLY
everything that is going to happen, funny thing is I still
can remember pretty much everything but decide to listen
only to certain layers, so get more from it depending on
mood.'

so i think he went too far with syro or it's just me? can't
have a fav track, can't recognize a track to have a certain
sound, a certain mood, or a certain thing happening.. there
are too many tracks into each track imho. i think i've seen
only elusive enthusiastic about that

Why do you have to be demeaning and cuntish? it's one of the
stories in the book mohamed mentions and it's beautiful. He
will read it, he has the fucking book.

What the fuck is wrong with some of you? I hate it when sad
fucks have to imply the worst in people and can't even voice
it well.

Bitter cunt.

"I hate it when sad fucks have to imply the worst in people
and can't even voice it well."

just like you're fucking doing in this thread earlier today.

yeah, you're voicing stuff REAL good here. like a champ.

------

MY FUCKING POINT IS:

you're dragging this place down -- you and your kind's
endless negativity. i cant fuckin stand it; this place is
falling apart because of it. sure, i can understand you're
life's shit, that you're broke or whatever, but this place
has become a sanctuary of AN ENDLESS SPIRAL OF NEGATIVE
THOUGHT. look that up in your local eastern philosophy
book.

my point is: if you have nothing positive to say, dont say
ANYTHING AT ALL...

Read my last month's worth of post and then you will
understand I'm not being negative here.

I'm battling with some people here being harsh, petty and
gratuitously negative and I might be harsh back to them but
I'm not here to drag the place down, Advocate. I talk about
music, I have met tons of friends here which is surely why I
come back, my chimp hoping I might ever get t hat feel
again. I refuse to put people down anymore and I don't enjoy
conflict. If you find the strength to have a look you'll
notice lately I'm only ever negative with the few trolls who
hate me here for getting on with people and and who think
I'm being trendy.

I enjoy all music, art and people. I have a hard time with
rude people everyday and believe in politeness to get
along.

This place has always been a bit "macho" and it used to be
fun and tongue in cheek. I'm the first to admit it became
unpleasant and didn't encourage people with low confidence
or self-esteem.

I have no idea what I did wrong in that thread you link.
Some guys are upset their hero struck a friendship with a
band they hate. I'm happy if people meet, collaborate and
generally get on.

"Eastern philosophy". That's insulting. Implying I don't
know what I'm talking about and that I'm negative is
judgemental, it's not being understanding and it sure isn't
love. You're being demeaning by saying that. You think you
have me all sussed out? I strive for kindness and I firmly
believe the world would be a better place if everyone did
the same.

My point is your message to me was negative, while
negativity is something I don't enjoy, you seem to think I
love it. If you're such a peaceful and loving person then
you wouldn't have written in such a manner. The use of caps
was ridiculous.

Thank you for the pointer to this. Very interesting things
discussed.
Has really inspired me to crack on with getting my equipment
unpacked and plugged in as I haven't made any music for a
couple of years now!

Also further convinced me that some of my ideas for
synthesis devices and electronics are not too far wide of
the mark at all.
Microtuning is very interesting topic and there are loads of
other things I can barely get my head round - hermode tuning
anyone?

Must re-read it and note down the key bits.
Inspirational stuff.

Thank you.
