hey, while we're on shit that'll go down like an L.E.D. balloon on XLT, how about rob overseer's album, "Wreckage"?? I still consider this to be a buried gem of the "big beat" genre. You'll likely know "Supermoves" because it's been licensed to hell and back, and perhaps "Horndog" as well from some 00's car commercials. I lump it in with the flood of stuff the Matrix soundtrack put me onto -- the licensed tracks on that film changed my life, and the score was dope besides. the morpheus/neo fight scene is a highlight of the original, non-licensed shit. as if that isn't enough, mr. overseer was nice enough to answer some of my autistic emails back in the early 00s when i was even more clueless than i am now. super chap. |
