It's classic Aphex, but I think he left it so long between albums that the anticipation was more than any music could've lived up to. The same happened with M B V. But it's great and I'm sure it'll only get better with more listens. |

I have actually now got illegal mp3s, but I HAVE ORDERED IT ALREADY FROM WARP AND AM NOT SHARING IT - I love xmas_eve10 straight off the bat. It is 10 years too late, but what the hell. I wonder if thing's would've been different had he released Windowlicker the album? Who can say? Perhaps the only answer is to jump in the pool and say "dunno"? |
