Scour old funk tracks for breaks and then use Recycle.
Time-consuming, but so enjoyable and the results are
incomparable

I made a few hours' worth of shite tracks when I was in
university, and I got most of the beats that way. it almost
becomes a hobby in itself to search for hot beatz on obscure
trax. Can be rather fun

Doubleclick had a 10 or 12 folder breaks pack that used to
be kicking around. Not sure how many essential jungle break
samples were in it. I mean for the core jungle break
samples you're looking at like what, a half dozen samples? I
only know three or four of them, and I wish someone would
just fucking list them with sound clips. They aren't a big
mystery but a lot of people still have no clue what they
are. Damn back in the day we used to think the amen break
came off an 808 with effects lol

Ultimate Breaks & Beats vol. 1 - 25 is a good place to start. But it's worth
spending the time hunting around ... Think
