it's ok but it sounds generic.

perhaps you would like to talk about what software you used
or your influences or emotions when creating this. it would
make me more interested in it rather than just spamming.

i was hoping for more personal information. i couldv'e
guessed everything you've said so far

i did listen to it all and it does seem so abject and
emotionless. pls tell me what drives you to do this? when do
you decide to work on your music? and why? and how? etc.

these are genuine questions.

ddrummondd isn't being awkward I don't think retape. I'd
like to know too. I've just made a track in my kitchen that
is inspired by - this

You should say a bit more about yourself in this daft
'everyone is making music', you are never 10 feet away from
a rat times.

That was actually really good remembering that track! I've
just made it better now.

i listened 2 the soundcloud tracks samples and they were
better and more funky thatn the 1 in the video. and screw
drumond and jiverdicker for dissing it cuz there music is
just a john cage 4:33 cover band ie its just silent. if u
cant take the heat get outa the kitchen

ddrummondd, your questions are valid, but I can't be arsed
to write up a reply. I would think being an active member of
this board would say more than a 1000 words about my
collapsing mental health and poor judgement making skills!

what inspires me... a hard question to answer besides the
obiouvs 'this and this track'. what inspires you, jivver?
what drives you to noodle around for 10 minutes with
whatever shitty VA synth Roland shat out last and sent you
for free only because you made a few hits in the 90s? just
trying to get the ball rolling here.

by now I'm sure you're all lusting for more RETAPE! - and
you're in luck! I made this EP at the end of last
year. it features REAL ANALOG SYNTHS and VINTAGE
DRUM MACHINES
, but it'll cost you 3 bucks. owned.

good production quality, probably a bit too dance/clubbish
for this crowd, but likely to get a few bodies moving.

people do seem to forget about those basscadet and digeridoo
tracks. shame. who made those again? no one important?

that's a new one. blue sky on mars.

samples here:
https://clone.nl/item31635.html

subtly brilliant m8. arrangements, production, danceability.

I play around with those virtual synths as it's my job and
not a retro obsessed luddite, plus I have multiple copies of
all the originals anyway. I need to learn and experiment
with things as I work and produce other people that aren't
stuck in the past and go on endlessly about how a 303 sounds
and making uninspired drivel that would have sounded shit
back in the day. It's like having a conversation with a one
dimensional stamp collector or trainspotter enthusiast.

To be fair 030303 would release a record made by a cat as
long as the track titles followed the formula of "A word" +
"Acid".
