try to get a plugin for winamp to play the genesis sound
files. i don't know what it's called but you can do some
searching. anyways you can get the sound files at zophar's
domain... HERE ...their not mp3's but you could
output them to wav using the disk writer output plugin in
winamp then encode them as mp3's yourself.

ZOphar.net, right on... it has EVERYTHING... I've never
turned the sound files into MP3s, but it can be done, like
Nhiiq said.

SuperJukebox is a brilliant program, I listen to video game
music almost as much as I listen to ''real'' music...

Also, if anyone's interested in Playstation music, or any
modern games, you can usually find just what you want on
Audiogalaxy. Metal Gear Solid, Mega Man X, Final Fantasy,
etc... also, lots of older MP3s, NES Mega Man games and
stuff like that.

thanks for the input guys! infact i did donwload some gym
files off of soulseek, and that sparked my interest in
wanting the mp3's. i need to listen to the sound quality of
the gym's before i'll convert them (if nessesary)

i don't think the audio quality would really matter... since
thier ripped from the carts themselves. the only thing that
would matter was the genesis audio decoder... which is very
close to the original system.
