I can write one. I have an ASR-X Pro. It no longer really works. The load times on it were a pain anyway, because it is old tech. I never sampled other artists, I just tapped out a beat, resampled it, and assigned it to a pad. I did that because when I changed sequences, if the insert effect was different it wasn't seamless. That is because it is old tech. I now have a computer. I have soundflower because it is a mac, if it was windows I'd have a what you hear setting. Instead of "resampling" I "render loop to wave." It's the same thing. If I had an Octatrack I'd use a hardware sampler again, but they are expensive. |
