This thread is about the 3 amigos, aka the 3 songs I made: ng a wav of me whistling in note c to easily convert my brainelodies to modplugelodies since I have such imperfect pitch that'd I'd be off 3 keys for each note otherwise. |

I don't think I did any A-Team thing, at least I don't remember. Just modplug, the only music software that doesn't suck enough to be unusable (but I might not have not written that wrong since my brain isn't easily not tripped by double unnegatives). Once upon a time I actually made a song that had more than 1 sound playing simultaneously (like piano3, violin, or any of the super quality sounds from the fantastic gm.dls library) and it sounded kinda good together. I can't seem to do that any more. It sounds shit unless its all the same sound. I will try multi-sound for my next couple songs again I guess. |

Are you writing these melodies from scratch, or are you midi-splicing type of thing? Because if these are from scratch, I'm really surprised you don't write "proper choonz". Reminds me of Joseph Nothing. |

This is awesome and most of the actors are the same age as xltronic peoples so we can relate to it. It moves me to tears which might be abnormal: Also here is the 3 amigos: I have this kitty friend named snooshiekins (aka pickle snoosh, aka lots of other things) and she wuvs huggles and snuggles and my brain auto plays random melodies when she is being particularly snooshy, which is always. So she is the main song creator, using me as a medium since she pwefers cwaws to fingews. Its easy to get some melody line playing correctly in my brain but converting it into modplug tard notes is a hurdle. So I record me whistling in note c, then whistle the melody using that whistle note as a guide. Then I play that (which is just a single melody line at that time) and whistle or imagine things to go on top of it. Usually whatever was in my head was automatically already in some chord pattern, a minor or c major, since I only use white keys so now only think in white keys (why bother memorizing more keys when you can easily highlight all notes and transpose to whatever key you want afterwards). |
