MONTHS ago i warned xlt about the oncoming troll onslught when joyrex started charging ppl for that forum. i got promoted 2 mod in training hoping to heal this forum of the trouble mackers but since then i have been contacting qrter according 2 the rules of mod in trainings to request mod actions but they always are ignored. it got so bad i stoped trying even to contact him. now xltronnnic is at its all time high in troll activity. gaping butthole pics are rampant and rascists are controlling its discourse..... it became a laughting stock on other internet boards SOMETHING HAS 2 CHANGE!!! if thsi forum doesnt get its act cleaned up im afraid i cant be able to post here anymore. thats why im issueing this ultimatum. if i dont get promoted 2 full mod within 7 days i will be resigning my mod in training status and quiting this forum all 2 gether. im sad it came 2 this but i cant see any other way now. this site is at a cross roads.... what way will it go? |

Racism and very overt hate/violence/discrimination are the only things to mod imo. I like the gaping assholes and so do many others. It's almost a mockery to the porn industry, and quite funny. Sadly the real uptight people are quaint and intolerant. They would rather walk away than put their own work in to self control or constructive criticism. Personally I think it's a major blow to freedom if the modding turns things too soft. Meanwhile billions of marketing dollars are corrupting us all. With all the intolerance and quibbling over butthurt emotions no one but $$$$ will create contemporary discourse. I agree we don't need much moderation. It's repetition that can get a bit old. I don't see myself as "uptight" or "quaint" yet i don't really like my own anus, let alone others', gaping. But yeah it doesn't kill me and i can just joyfully skip by. I wouldn't class myself as having an orifice breakdown or anything. Fuck maybe i am old and uptight :( |

hexane's honestly fine; has the decency to just sprinkle the photos on top. as long as you can get over yourself and scroll past, it's no big deal. contrast that with those landslide bulk-bumps of old posts the dubturbo ninny does; that effectively kills any active discussions since no-one can find anything. i'm not a conspiracy man, but here's where i start to wonder if a certain texan forum admin has a bit too much time and giving-a-fuckness on his hands. i'll even concede it annoys me, about as much as dropping a slice of buttered toast on the floor (but not quite as much as dropping a slice of jammed toast on the floor). now we have to clean up the mess and make some new threads/toast, dammit |

I don't think you're suited for modding. I'm not even sure what sort of contribution you would make or think you would make. If you think your role would help to create a more welcoming environment then prove it. Start calling out posts, cite quotes and state what actions you would take as mod. That you haven't considered such a thing alarms me a bit. The forum medium in general is in limbo, and i would think that most modding would turn this ghost town in to a barren desert. I think like many mods your ego is an impediment, and you are deluded to believe you want more than simply power. I don't think you are cultured enough or open minded enough to give freedom a long leash. You're the young cop. Arrogant, your head filled with deluded self-interested purpose. I think that over time the only chance of forums like these surviving will be because they are free and open. In an age where the righteous intolerant who think they are progressive are cheering for more moderation, free and open forums will become attractive. That you tried to lump gaping assholes and racism as the same thing based on intent is a very ignorant slippery slope, and I wouldn't trust you with where to draw the line of appropriateness. |
