Sounds cool.
The whole project seems to have this probing space synth
universe to it.

I think its either:

A) OVUCA. It seems that way sometimes. And he is from
Osthrobothia.
B) THE REPHLEX STAFF. It might be what the rephlex staff
have been doing in their spare time. !?!?!

"THE REPHLEX STAFF. It might be what the rephlex staff
have been doing in their spare time. !?!?!" man, do the
staff got skills like this!!?!?!?!?

Dont think so, if u mean Aphex as staff ok but now the
others...

I mean this is the best electronic stuff I heard fo ages.
The nearest the holy trinity anyone has come.

For sure there's collaboration of RDJ inside. It's an
interesting project, it seems another braindance compilation
with a lot of rephlex's artists.

offline Binaural Tea from Christmas City (Christmas Island) on 2002-04-16 15:34 [#00177984]

Yeah, but RDJ doesnt have to be involved at all.
Yet it seems that there are some kind of rule in all tracks.
They are spaced and so on.

that troublemaker kara (I didn't read all the posts I have
no idea if she was for real or not) mentioned that Part 3 of
Astrobotnia would be Afx mixes.
Maybe the third release, seeing as it's an LP is a whole
load of remixes by Rephlex artists!

part 2 is listed to come out next week in my mag but i guess
it could be a mistake but dunno

ovuca odds on

richard has loads of aliases, cylob has at least 2 so why
shouldn't ovuca have one? especially if richard has him
signed up for a long period of time

read this on boomkat.com
SINGLE OF THE WEEK!

ASTROBOTNIA Part Two Rephlex 12" £4.99
After last weeks devestation, the mysterious Astrobotnia
returns for this second, vinyl-only excursion. If part one
set the scene, part two lays it on in true bezerker stylee
for a deranged rummage through the last 20 years of breaks,
hardcore, junglism, funky drummerisms and pure
adrenalin-fuelled mentalisms, before the melody seeps in to
take over. The second track unfolds a crazed break that’s
underpinned by the sweetest spacious melancholy imaginable,
all classic Braindance off course. Untitled EP closer,
meanwhile, matches up tin percussion with spaced out keys,
all patched up in true ‘Pusher / Bogdan / Drukqs stylee,
rotating endlessly like a sonic game of sizzlin Asteroids on
crack. Super large, be quick!
