Did anyone see the recent programme on sharks on BBC 1 with Johyn Peel? It was the best shark programme I've ever seen. This total nutcase got in the water with a great white, with no cage. Stupid bastard.

Ken: yeah, forgot about that. I wish I'd taped it now. The scence with the GW were so weird. The water was really placid. They look so alien, terrifying yet beautiful.
I had a great book on sharks my dad bought when I was a kid. I fkeep hassling him to find it. It had some amazing photos and really interesting.

there was a great david attenborough one on great whites a few years back set around dire island off the south african coast-they were attachin cameras to the sharks and getting them to attack cut outs of seals-scary.
ever seen that john and valery tailor (famous shark hunters-turned-conservationsits) film-'blue water, white death'?-thats the best documentary on great whites ive ever seen.
