Second one is a bit squarepusher-y. Which is something retape has been guilty of in the past. He pulls it off though and this track is smooth. First track is wondeful and went under the radar at the time. |

well, i should clarify. second track would have been good in 1997, nice pitch bend and chord changes, but it still comes off as a loopy acidish by the numbers fing. which is fine, really, i do a lot of that myself. just, compared to the first, with all the clever fx and rhythm trickery... yeah, that one's loads more fun. not being a dick; this is simply fact |
