PHASE ONE -- HALCYON DAYS: there was always a tad of contention regarding my right to post "shit threads." i actually respect the desire to keep things organized, but why can i not make silly aphex twin topics in the aphex twin forum? really, it was rather arbitrary at first. sometimes my shit threads would be left alone, other times they mysteriously got binned. it annoyed me, there were some exchanges, but ultimately nothing came of it besides me and ChenGod hating each other. PHASE TWO -- JOYREX GOES NAZI: i still don't understand what prompted it, but joyrex suddenly decided to delete a bunch of popular NSFW threads and become a super-twat. i didn't really care about the NSFW threads, but i understood how people felt, having been subject to that sort of harassment on an individual basis. so i started being a bit of a dick. this was justified because it was no longer just me, it was 1/3 of the board complaining. some spat between chengod and i about me bumping some old threads of mine, and him locking them, did not help the mood between mods and i. PHASE THREE -- YOU DON'T OWN ME; BANNED: one day, joyrex went on some ridiculous tirade about how this was his house and we were all just guests so kiss my shoes suckaz etc. it reminded me of the south park episode where cartman has a birthday party, and someone doesn't get him the right action man figure, so he cancels the fucking party. joyrex is cartman... anyways, i replied to it with something like, "this is a community, you can't own a community, and you certainly don't own me" and he was all "fine, banned" and now u noe |

It's been pretty bad (this place) for a while now but there's always a few people who are there in times of need. Appart from you i can't think of many daily posters right now (unles you're so annoying you become unavoidable and stick out like a sore thumb) i don't know. Frequy obviously has another dupe for the moment. Fun trouble maker Jivver is barely here anymore, Dan has calmed down, horsefactory is barely here and the great dariusgrffin going all nuts on us leaving after years and years of posting great stuff, music and being generally a top person it's sad. Though i do find the guy pretending to be a bot (bot turbo) quite funny, I don't like it when a dupe plays a game so well worthwhile people leave because boo hoo someone is 'bullied'. I loved the '04 - '06 period here the most i think, maybe a tad earlier. So many lengendary posters. the peak. Sisyphus' job done. I met some dear friends here over the span of eleven or so years so it's quite sad nowadays. It's like like going to your old boozer after a while and it's not a tenth of what it was. I still go and i don't know why. |

by elevate, mr. mills means . i don't, really. i don't have the equipment for it, and i detest gyms. i walk, and i do stretches and stances and yoga crap, that's about it. if i do, by some miracle, get spare money in my budget for something as unimportant as fitness, i will buy a treadmill, because walking in the winter sucks, and it will allow me to avoid my neighbors more effectively. the ones i don't like, anyways. obara is asking for some sort of label. i tell people i am an odd duck, when they press me for a label, but labels are mostly for other people, not oneself. i realized a lot of the unhappiness in my life stems from letting other people define the path to happiness for me. people tell me "you should get out more" or "you should lift" or "you should post less" or "you should focus on mix/master more" and i nod thoughtfully while telling them to get stuffed inside my head (or just tell them directly, if it's the internet). maybe i would care more about trivial external details like that if i didn't find 90% of the people on the planet irritating cattle that just want to talk about snooki. go lift with those cunts. this topic was supposed to give joyrex a reason to come play in the snake pit again, it was not supposed to be about me. halp |
