Warps me right back to the '80s - my mum would play cassette
tapes of Paul Young albums.

This is the first version of the song I heard, and now I'd
say it's kind of shit. That said, it's always been a weird
song within the Joy Division catalogue, it doesn't sound
like JD really, more like what would be New Order.

Anyway, regarding Paul Young, I have a soft spot for
Love Of The Common People (also a cover, ofcourse) and Iron Out The Rough Spots

it's bad. like a nightmare march.

but when I imagine Joy Division covering "come back and
stay" or any other Young's song I'm almost sure it would
sound at least interesting

He did, he covered Wherever I Lay My Hat.

We do have to give him credit for coming up with the most
80st of fucking 80s record titles - No Parlez.
