Very sad. Not an age for anyone to die even if he always was
a bit of a chubber. I know everyone online is saying RIP
Tony but I always think of him as Virgil in True Romance (I
only watched the first season of the Sopranos). I couldn't
believe he was only 51, he looked that old 20 years ago.

He was in In The Loop though, for that he gets kudos from
me.

You definitely should continue watching the Sopranos
when time (and envy) permits.

Hope you're in Peaceworld or something similar, James!
Goodbye Lt. Gen. George Miller

He fit the role perfectly for tony soprano, excellent
series. It's strange his character died on the last episode
and now this...

Apart from being a spoiler for people that haven't watched
it yet...

Would it be stranger if he never died?

Luckily practically everyone on the planet knows how The
Sopranos ended and I have no intention of watching any more
of them.. you're still a twat though.

Awful that he went so young, he so fully inhabited tony that
it's hard to place him elsewhere

this is honestly such a fucking loss. i know he was always
going to be typecast after the sopranos but he had a real
subtlety. too young.

That was his problem and one reason why he took drugs and
drank even between scenes, it consumed him and is likely to
be what contributed to him dieing so young . His identity
was delusive to a lot of people because they thought he
would be the same as his character and he is far from it.
