does anyone here dig them? their sound has been melting my
ears on a daily basis recently.

it's a deliberate vintage tape-hissed rock-sound, with
surprising nü-retro synthesizer elements tugged in between
echo-chambers and flanging fluxuation.

there's a certain pop-feel about the composition, but the
sound eliminates the obvious. brings me back to being a kid,
hearing thin lizzy in the background of the livingroom.

their new album 'lonerism' is good, but their previous one -
'innerspeaker' is really good.

You say that like it's a bad thing

Yeah they're great, ideal summer music, listen to them a lot
when I'm out walking. Love their drum sound

Hardly interesting fact - until quite recently I had never
heard of impalas, so I would pronounce the band's name as
Tamé Impala.

Loved that album.

Was recorded near Perth, I was over there recently thinking
about setting up a studio.

But that guys studio was pretty rocking.
Awesome bass room.

Great tunes.
