dilemma

so, I tried to get as much done on my vehicle before its
MOT (car tax brit thing) and I get myself a new windscreen
wiper, take it off to get a like for like replacement that
afternoon. take it for the test, new blade is on passenger
seat, ask them to fit it..

test fails on a few small things (unrelated), go to drive
away and the mechanic has smashed the screen arm down on the
windscreen fitting the new wiper, it has an obvious smash
line eminating from it.

now for the dilemma, the old cunt who did this damage left
his glasses in the cab despite protesting 'it was like that
when I tested it' (lies) just to protect this old drones job
that he tried to keep

what to do with the glasses?

smash them once I get the certificate? or admit your
mistakes, it makes you a man. that is how I stand.. but I
also see why he lied, I'm sure there are plenty of mechanics
to take his place.

Maybe it really was like that, yo... BUUUT if it's not
something that's gonna cost money to fix, then fine?
Hopefully not a problem. The asshole thing to do would be
to break his glasses, return them to him, and say they were
like that when he left them in your car. But it'd be nice
if he at least admitted what he did, then, return his nice
glasses. Or maybe you can just start to wear his glasses,
which might make you look awesome. Maybe they are x-ray,
and let you see chichis.

ahaha, they were old boy style, so I was dubious as to them
having potential powers.

The owner of the garage heard the arm crack the screen
anyway, he has offered to replace free of charge. faith in
humanity/garages restored. (I returned the glasses too)

+1

Peace, has been kept. CONGRATS! Cuz the other-
other- option, was to train for 10 years, 7 hours a
day martial arts training, then approach the man who cracked
your shit-- "I am going to jail in a few hours, and I have
my cell phone here to make the call to the police. Because
I am going to beat the living shit out of you and make sure
you survive. You will wish you never lied to me..... I
have trained for 10 years straight for this moment, and you
sir- lying bastard- will experience the result of my
training. Here are your glasses..... I see you've replaced
your glasses since, but you might want to wear both pairs,
to get the most clear look of me paralyzing every part of
your being."

*and then conclude with this*

I have not used the same garage since. mot in a few months,
and nothing shall change! (found a good local mechanic).

wipers are easy to change tho, you can fit them yourself if
you are not too scopie/swivel chair to tie a bathrobe.
