There was one Nazi called Julius Streicher. He ran a newspaper called The Stormer and it was always complaining about jews and making up conspiracies. It is similar to David Duke today. He also believed that protocols was literal truth. Anyway you can see a documentary called Protocols of Zion on youtube. When I watch Alex Jones I just don't trust him. He seems to behave too much like a politician to me. Like in that first video, he responded in a way as if no reasonable conversation was possible, seemingly without testing the waters. He went on about being stalked, but those phone calls could have easily been trolls winding him up. I can imagine him being a very tempting target for certain kinds of people, just because he seems so childish and gullible. But yeah, I just don't trust him really! |

Well overall, I think Alex Jones' enthusiasm is great. I believe he truly believes in what he's spreading and truly believes that he's helping open eyes and minds. And I think it's working. I believe he does help people. Watching him on that bbc tv segment reminds me of watching old Ron Paul interviews, where the media just mocked him- literally laughed-- but Ron Paul was/is actually quite intelligent and in the know about the problems of the US. It's very unfortunate that the people who are aware of problems are often seen as crazy. These sort of people are able to understand the larger problems at hand and are able to see how current issues effect the world in the long term. The main issue with the general public with regard to these matters, is that they cannot see the long term, so they are very happy to slowly give away rights in order for the superficial promise of some sort of safety. Like Ron Paul totally called the US economic collapse and banking crisis bullshit several years before it happened, and he was laughed at for talking in such ways. Most of modern society are like children who are choosing to not eat vegetables or exercise, being controlled by candy shops and ice cream trucks. Only yeeeeeears later, when their whole body and mind is fucked due to not listening to their "stupid parents", do they realize the wisdom of their parents. But by then, the damage has been done. "In the end", whether Alex Jones et al can help the larger picture is really a moot point. The fact that there are people who are willing to put their public reputation on the line to spread ideas they believe in- ideas they believe can help the world- is heart warming and a definite positive aspect of humanity. But still, narrating the rape of the world, is only half helpful. Truly world changing shit cannot happen, unless everyone stands together and says FUCK YOU at the same time. |
