i'm not that much into grunge, but yeah, seattle still has a
great grunge influence...infact a lot of comupter jobs here
don't even make you where business causal...i've done temp
jobs in downtown seattle, and worked next to a hard core
punk (whom smelled like he was s gutter punk). a lot of my
friends are into grunge...

seattle is pretty famous for it's arts...music wise we have
a strong influence on germany to visit and colonize...i'm
telling ya, if i were to start spinning power electronics,
or ebm here at the local raves...i'll blow up in one
night...the only thing that's slowing us down is that were
soooooo far from the eastern coast (thus germany).

to add to the colinization part...why even are having
haujobb's dan myer obsessed with us.

I'm from Bergen, Norway, and our town has this special
friendship with Seattle. We actually have totem in one of
our parks, and it has been given to us as a gift from the
city of Seattle! : )

I dont like grunge tho...

I can sorta dig Merzbow every once in awhile. I like noise
to be incorporated into music. I like things loud and
aggressive, but also interesting.

to clarify, machineworks was the name of a noise night at
the club Mercury on capitol hill. its on pike st... or
pine.. i always get them confused. not the street with the
egyptian theatre but 1 block south.
Jason, the other half of GOlgiApparatus went to school with
a guy who was a small rave promoter for the New Dawn
Collective. so we had a connection i guess.
