I like some things about it: The songwriting and overall
sound is more mature, a bit denser. It makes stuff like
'Little Sister' seem like a demo. The hooks can be really
infectious - the single was floating in my head for days.
When I listened to it the first time I thought it was a
grower and would yield some delights but I seem to be
getting less keen on it the more I hear it (the opposite of
what my friends think). I still don't think it matches the
best off their first three albums, and I still think the
first one's the best. At least I knew/cared who was in the
band then too.

It's better than the last one anyway. I think I liked one
riff out of that whole record.

Nothing beats Rated R for me. I don't really listen that
much to rock anymore so I'm somewhat biased.
