been reading some Dante today folks....thought i'd share
this passage.....was rather thought provoking for
me.....enjoy =0)

"now must thou cast off all sloth.... for sitting on down or
under blankets none comes to fame, and without it he that
consumes his life leaves no trace of himself on earth, as
smoke in air or foam on the water. rise, therefore, conquer
thy distress with the soul, which conquers in every battle
if it does not sink with its bodys weight. there is a longer
stair which must be climbed. "
Dante, Commedia, Inferno XXIV, 46-55.

*turns light saber off just to be nice to ze witch*

i wouldn´t like your post to be all by itself, and though i
read Dante´s "La Divina Comedia" a few years back i wanted
to post something i wrote the other night.

Si yo, aunque ninguno fuera,
Pudiese tener sobre la cara
Aquella claridad fugaz
Que aquellos árboles tienen,

Tendría aquella alegría
Que tienen por fuera las cosas,
Porque la alegría es de la hora
Y se va con el sol cuando enfría.

Más que la vida mía
Me valiese cualquier otra
Tener esa vida de extraño
Que sólo de sol viniera!

ok now, we´re both in this post, and most likely, ít´ll
stay that way.

(by the way, dou you know any spanish at all?)....just
wandering

*turns saber back on...*

enough nice_sweet talk to ze eviliest of them
all!!!........(spanking continues...hehehehe)

keep up the poetry writing....it's a great talent to be able
to put into words specific feelings from a moment in your
life. =0)

i used to write more....but alas....the cares of the day
have taken over. no time for writing.....but i think i
should make time....it's very relaxing....and cathartic!

art. i wanna get my hands dirty, get 'into it' if you
will.....ehehhehe

I studied Divina Commedia at school anyway I find it very
interesting especially the hell's section (Inferno).
The soundtrack of the INFERNO's book could be Selected
Ambient Works Vol. II...
