holy crapping crap some of these are crazy! the exo-voice prosthesis in particular. it's like the suit from elysium took a bunch of fucking acid and decided to make electronic music instead of beat up robots. talk about expressive!! |

yeah, exo-voice demo actually sounds like real music. unlike the scanner thing, which looks fun but largely useless... seaboard looks like a slightly better-designed version of that other controller like this.... can't remember what it's called, but amon tobin did some demo vid with one. ...v meter? you guys looked at leap motion at all? think of alesis airfx or roland d-beam, except it can track individual fingers and assign them to parameters. you'll be able to scoop one up at best buy for $70 soon. |

i have a developer unit. been trying to cobble together a MIDI toolkit for myself but they keep updating the API and i already have 20 other things i need to finish. |

it's sort of like kinect for laptops and hand gestures instead of living rooms and a family of four. i'm sure i'll make more videos, but i made a bunch recently and i'm a bit burned out on that for the moment. |
