it was hardly mass killing.....

freqy maybe herr morris was the culprit, mass killings and
marathons was for sure the theme in 4lions...

since i feel like ampi may be right. i was just a bit pissed
off at the time.

I don't think anyone here is trying to politicise the issue,
people can't help but relate these bombings to overseas
because of their broader perspectives.. Injustice isn't an
isolated phenomenon so it doesn't hurt to remember all the
souls who get sucked into the violence.

its bad to say this but i think people in the US should get
used to these attacks.. Don't know why i have a feeling that
these (and mass shootings) are quickly becoming more
commonplace on american soil. Who knows what the real
motives are but i hope we can all agree that we can't trust
the mainstream news to guide our perception

when i say get used to these attacks, I mean don't let it
shock your mind into forming impulsive (irrational)
conclusions. Cause the mind does have a tendency to do
that.

Hope the families and mourners find peace in their hearts
soon

Alex Jones edited that clip to fit his conspiracy theory.
see news story and seth macfarlane's response. Jones is a piece of human garbage and you
should stop getting your news from the man freqy :(

Remember when he said the Dark Knight theater shooting was
part of a government conspiracy too? It's what this man
does.

they definitely cut it to make people think its a
conspiracy. and now they are making movies about how they
didn’t mean it; and that family guy said it was a hoax.
all foolish news.

don’t worry wolfy i dont think that at all. but think that
maybe someone was could have been inspired by the cartoon?
hek knows?

i wish people could learn to face these things (in america
especially) with more clarity..

the reason i tried to explain my opinion on the motivation
of islamic terrorism earlier in this thread is cos i feel
people dont see it for what it is. people attach their own
politics to an act like 911, taking it beyond the politics
of the perpetrators. opinions like 'it's an inside job' or
'its revenge against america' are both opinions formed more
out of hatred of a controlling government than a quest to
uncover the attacks true meaning.

attacks like this boston shit being drawn into a larger
political narrative is even worse, whether its from people
like alex jones or cnn. the perps are probably 2 crazy
dudes, but everyone turns it into more than it is and it
becomes more than it is. people are talking about 'waking up
to the reality of terrorism' now. americans are too
uncomfortable with it just being a fucking awful thing that
happened - its got to be more, its always got to add up to a
bigger picture and everyone uses it so they can say 'see
look i told you, its cos america has bombed too many places/
its cos of violent computer games/ its cos we all didnt have
more guns'. these attacks have to be analysed but should not
be a starting pistol for everyone with a big opinion on
society. logic comes from the calm contemplative study of
facts by professionals.

911 was political and you could tell that from the start so
of course that has been a huge political subject. things
like the aurora shooting are not, its just another fucking
idiot making waves and people shouldnt give it so much
gravitas.

Islamists are behind this. Strange that you never see any
catholic, atheist or buddhist terrorists.

Islam is such a lame and stupid religion. Of all stupid
religions it must be the worst judging from the wars between
its believers.

Yes they're both muslims but from Chechnya. They only seemed
to get deep into it recently though, on the old photos they
didn't show much signs of being that much interested in
Islam.

If both end dead the conspiracy theories will never end,
which at this point seems highly likely of happening.

police and not shoot himself in some dark hole.

blag, i hadn't read that. living in mass through 911 was
enough, i'm really hoping this doesn't end up with another
rash of intense islamophobia in the boston area.

Islamophobia doesn't exist. You really should check the
history of this made up word.

aren't all words made up?

i don't know what you'd define islamophobia as, but there
were a lot of people who very openly didn't like brown
people from the desert. it was really nasty, and i did not
like living around it.

Wikipedia is your friend. Or ask yourself, does something
like liberalophobia exist, or christophobia? I don't think
you can be phobic towards a religion or a political
ideology.

Get used to it. It's only going to get worse.

If you don't want to be around a bunch of people openly
hating browns then you'd best move to someplace with no
browns (and then people won't need to openly hate them.)
