thanks guys........ ok then ill just finish this thread off but its a shame. i honestly thought the death of thatcher was a start, i imagined leftwing dudes would start building up again and start talking and drop the disinterest. it could have been a bit fun actually. anyway this documentary is HEAVILY pro thatcher. its targeted at chanel 4's aspiring lower class (hollyoaks) in the most cynical way. it has interviews with some incredibly nasty pricks. david cameron is in it. he is painted as a liberator of individuals 'just like thatcher was'. the doc says everyone who didn't like thatcher is just another intelectual elitist trying to keep aspiring people down. im warning you now that the propaganda campaign may actually be working if chanel 4 felt it could get away with screening this - it knew it had an audience. i think people are believing this stuff. goodnight |
