Seconded. Very comprehensive catalog of music eschewing any
of the common idealized forms of music. Complex art created
by a multifaceted and blindingly talented man.

Reverse, pitch shifting, changing speed- all these shits can
make any music sound amazing; like some electronic ultra
dream of rainbow and sunshine beyond white.

But also...

this place didnt die cos of trolls
1: phobia didnt come back
2: xlt core members became ultra cynical during the new
changes in electronic music/internet but did NOTHING about
it. now the future of music/internet is in the hands of
those who actually had some energy and love left but
personally far less taste in my opinion. but the ball was
dropped so its not our game anymore
3: valued members have little left to say even tho the world
hasnt changed that much and theres still plenty to talk
about. everyones too cool to look as if they care enough to
type - thats rly gay
4: grown ups have had to grow up which means they have less
time for this place. the key is that they passed very little
on to younger users - most of which have gone to watmm or
something cos of the lack of anything to gain from here.
5: there is nothing to gain from this place. people cant
even be bothered to properly argue over things anymore
6: its not even very funny here - i wish i hadnt hated
clark1234567 because he was probably the last xlt joke

That was a serious, insightful post ampi max.

I will add the one point you've all missed:

THE IDM GENRE WAS DEAD AND BURIED BACK BEFORE ANALORD CAME
OUT AND THAT WAS THE FINAL NAIL IN THE COFFIN. ALL OF THE
'HEROES' HAVE RETIRED AND MOST IDM FANS ARE RELUCTANT TO
ACCEPT ANYTHING THAT DOESN'T COME FROM 3-4 PRODUCERS AS
WORTHY OF THEIR TIME.

Therefore the music/scene/artists the website was built
around is/are gone. Therefore the site no longer has
meaning.

If it weren't for the trolling this site would have almost
no traffic.

i didnt miss this 'point' youve made but i like that you
have highlighted the problem which is the bullshit 'its
dead' attitude. meanwhile everyone with a little bit of
energy and less snobby opinions made electronic music what
they wanted it to be. here at xlt we have defeated our fav
genres by talking eachother into a position where we refused
to be impressed or make it better.

even if it music was dead theres so much music u didnt
discover in the past yet such as new age but must ppl thing
ther 2 "cool" for new age

I know it hurts, ampi max, to read my words and feel the
sting of truth. IDM was dead almost a decade ago. Your
elitist attitudes just hastened the demise!

Look on the bright side: you fanbois don't ever need to see
each other's dicks again because there is no more IDM to
circle jerk over.

Every one of your comments brings to mind a visual of a
small man, incompetently juggling a batch of semi-solid
turds.

Why are you using turds? Who is your audience? Why juggle
them and not just put them back in the toilet where they
belong? Why not go and practise so you have something
worthwhile to display to everybody?

clark was legitimately funny. I loved how soft-core the
marketing ploy was, and how simple and commonplace the
products were. If I learn to program sufficiently I'm
probably going to make a small pocket-sized clark interface
that will give me links and stories at the touch of a
button, Tamagotchi style

I like you, haft.while other brits would let the pain of
their rotting teeth and cloudy thinking from living at the
bottom of a whiskey bottle deter them from responding in a
clear, well-reasoned vantage point, you put down your kiddie
porn and sure gave me the business. I believe Yall say
"cheers" right about now.
