forgot how goddamn good some of their albums are; thanks to haft in the hihat thread for reminding me i haven't listened to mezzanine in quite a while. 100th window was huge for me in 2005 -- that an the analords were all i played for a few months. not so hot on blue lines (except for "Safe From Harm") or their newest effort (but I need to give that a re-listen). hassive mattack. |

100th window should've been credited as Massive O'Connor Attack. their stuff gets cheesy with too much content vs form. mezzanine tracks with Liz on vocals are the best. |

Blue Lines and Protection (and No Protection) are amazing. Mezzaninne is mainly gash apart from "Risingson" and "Man Next Door", could have been epic but was guitar weedy. 100th Window is gash apart from "Everywhen" and the bonus track. Then I fucking lost interest. |

mezzanine had some good dub in it, which was very good - oh and I forgot No Protection: much less cheesy and more moody than 100th window but nut that much less organised than.....mezzanine ! - which had some good dub in it, innit. |

No I'm being serious! I was a bit groggy and had a headache so I took some very popular designer drugs. I'm sure most have you have tried caffeine it's pretty good in the morning! Also I found that the active ingredients in Tylenol helped my headache and I didn't even need to hide from the cops! |
