house and techno music is at 120-130 bpm because this is the
average active heart-rate of a healthy human

although spelled wrong, this topic will be accepted as valid
and filled up with facts - some true, some irrelevant.

How many variations when it comes to dealing a pack of 52
cards you ask me, freqy?

80,658,175,170,943,878,571,660,636,856,403,766,975,289,505,
440,883,277,824,000,000,000,000

(thank you QI)

Apparently, it is incredibly possible that no deck of cards
have ever been shuffled to the same order.

"To give you an idea of how many that is, here is how long
it would take to go through every possible permutation of
cards. If every star in our galaxy had a trillion planets,
each with a trillion people living on them, and each of
these people has a trillion packs of cards and somehow they
manage to make unique shuffles 1,000 times per second, and
they'd been doing that since the Big Bang, they'd only just
now be starting to repeat shuffles."

To make the subject complete!

That's not factually correct, 118 bpm is a brisk walk or
slight jog where your heart rate increases.

Yes there's a few on youtube i listened to. I remember one
with Alan Moore.

Karl Pilkington's view of the infinite monkey theorem was
funny: ""If they haven't even read Shakespeare, how do they
know what they're doing?""

If you can find a torrent of the infinite monkey cage you
should get them, it's informative and fun. This is a good
book that tries to prove the existence and factual physics

Interesting fact: Will Self told Karl Pilkington to "fuck
off" before adding he didn't know wether he should kick him
down the road or take his clothes off and soap him gently
with palm olive.

Oh, is this gossip? Fun gossip.

Mel Blanc, voice of bugs bunny hated carrots , and so do
most bunny rabbits.
but carrot shares went sky high soon after bugs bunny was
created. in fact most people would not know what a carrot
was , if it wasn’t for bugs ( i may have exaggerated there
on that last bit)

1969 up to Luna 24 in the mid 70s. I've actually played with
some of the material one of them scooped up. Looks like
house dust lol

Dub Techno = Light Jogging.
BoC = Walk up a gentle slope at dawn.

250 million for a cable connecting all of the USA and Europe
is a bargain. Is it the cable alone that cost that, or the
cost of the laying it too?
