i take namedropping lord byron very seriously, ok? back in high school i was a REAL FAN. his shit fit in very well with trent reznor's albums. i resent some twerp who can't even tell the difference between "your" and "you're" parroting what some college professor (perhaps a cute, blond, just-out-of-grad school professor?) said. |

First off, poetry is for those groomed to consume it. Take the Elgin Marbles, for example, some of the first sculptures to ever depict emotion. Sculpted emotion, or lack there of is for those groomed for it. Wine, for example are for those atmospheres groomed for it. you would never see many of the other entheogens glorified in the same manner, it's because of the groomed ppl. "synthpop" or am i just lingering over the nuance? lastly I'm not as deformed as Byron. |
