would aphex twin have ever reached the same heights of fame without chris cunningham's "come to daddy" video? it reminds me of hunter s. thompson vs. ralph steadman. steadman's drawings really amplified the effect of the book, and most people just assign thompson all the credit.... but those drawings really sealed the deal, in a sense. |

Yes. I used to love Quentin Blake's drawings when i read Roald Dahl. They go together but that's because i was told to make that link. Ultimately the stories were way bigger than the accompanying pictures. |
