I recently bought a cheap old PS2 console. So far i played: Black/Bully/Fahrenheit aka Indigo prophecy. What are some good old games i should be playing next? I like everything except sports and racing games. |

i bought a bunch of old ps2 games too when my gf brought hers over. soul calibur 2 and katamari damacy are by far my faves. although, perhaps you should go outside more? |

I second MGS2. Also both GTA: San Andreas and Vice City are essential if you haven't played through 'em. Tekken Tag Tournament is a very fun fighter. Star Wars: Battlefront is a lot of fun too if you have friends to play with. Jamie Oliver's Special Olympics Egg and Spoon Racing probably takes the crown of them all |

Shadow of the Colossus is on my list, so is ICO. Im not sure if the MGS games are for me, they seem really difficult and time consuming. Anyway, thankx for all your recommandations. Please keep them coming. The next game i will be playing is: Mr. Moskeeto. I bought it for 1.50 € |

At least it'll play on the PS2 My 60gb PS3 with PS1 and PS2 compatibility wails so hard And the MGS games are pretty user friendly, really. They're super tough on the hardest difficulty but piss easy on the easiest. Even if you hate stealth games, it's worth playing on easy just for the insane story and crazy humor. They just have to be experienced, they're ridiculous. |

silent hill 2, siren 2 (hard survival stealth horror), resident evil 4, r type final (hard), crash bandicoot wrath of cortex, timesplitters 2, freakout (weird and might be rare), capcom vs snk 2 (really great fighter), klonoa 2 (fun kiddy platformer), project zero/fatal frame 2 (part 3 is great too), medal of honour frontline, devil may cry (get this for sure), parappa the rapper 2, mark of kri (fun), wipeout fusion, gta san andreas, jak and daxter |
