song ! At least two songs.
Isn it funny how these songs forge our memories, and most probably you will only like them if you played the related games ?
Also, they are often composed by japanese, although traditionnaly, japanese music doesnt sound like this at all.
(but i like how they are getting the hang of westerners music)

Games used to be real, fun and profitably programmable by individuals. They were quickly corrupted just like the internet, tv, movies, education, economics, prison and every other endeavor of humanity, into cash cows that are only allowed to exist in proprietary DRM-filled walled i-gardens on the cloud. Only approved minions, not including Kim Dotcom, were allowed to exist on the cloud. Steam was created to ensure no used game market can exist to compete with the sale of new games, and the elites began attacking the ability of their tax paying slaves to sell used games on their controlled economy of ebay as well.
DARPA found a way to make humanity fund their evolution of future humanity-killing robots. All games were secretly research in artificial intelligence in 3D worlds, which is why modern games are all similar and why 'motion sensing' is pushed despite everyone's hatred of it. While humanity was chemically attacked with flouride spiked water, their games were simplified into Dance Dance Revolution/ Guitar Hero, where the whole game is about pushing a button at the right time, to keep them dumb and exploitable/controllable. Meanwhile the flicker rate was adjusted for maximum brain washing potential after decades of experiments on chimpanzees. Most other games were all first person shooters to desensitize humanity to violence, so they would be indifferent when their fellow humans were hauled off to concentration camps or murdered.

Mate =) haha THANKS for filling my request.doubling it is welcome too ! =)
Sonic spinball was as great as it was hard ! I didnt own the CARTRIDGE but tried the game at a friend's girl bedroom, I told her mickey was a rat on that same occasion, wich made her quite disappointed cuz apparently she believied it was some sort of cartoon. So she gave me Sonic Spinball so i shut the fuck up, and it quite worked!... I never finished this shit, the PC propinballs are far greater, although not available in any girl room AFAIK.
I own the Sonic & Knuckles inflated cartrigde, going in pair with Zionic 3, I enjoyed Flying Batterry almost as much as MushroomHill and all the other levels in That game. Great Memories.
Now for the DARPA DANCE revolution guitar hero stuff, i'm not sure if i concur. For that simple reason : back in my childhood i enjoyed this PSX Demon: raraep pa papa
BYE =) 1050

I think you would like this.
It's indie as hell. It portrays Christianity in a poor light. It has poop everywhere. It has an IDMish soundtrack. It very whimsical and has lots of randomisation. It should be right up your street. Great game.

Back to the original topic:
Smash TV's music is so frantic, brash and OTT that it fits both the hectic gameplay and the shouted SFX perfectly.
Splatterhouse 3's music perfectly captures the feelings of both "Oh God, something is very wrong here and we're fucked and all going to die", then the next moment, "I'm going to grown muscles like the incredible hulk and fuck their shit up" that the game evokes.
The SFX (particularly the door opening) and the tiny bits of music used in the cut scenes are superb too.

Haha, was it Kotaku? I remember they used one of my threads as a "story" once in their "neogaf asks" feature. I have to know because if it isn't that then it's really weirdly unsettling and I'll never sleep again.
And yeah there are like 15 tracks from DH that are among my favorite music ever

Never played Flashback (it looks great) but Strider and Revenge of Shinobi were/are fantastic games.
I have fond memories playing the Megadrive but i don't remember much music. Probably a bit obvious but i remember some tracks from Sonic which were great
