smooth.:) ...have been doing a search for them on SS for the
last few days and here it is...I wonder how long it's gonna
take to replicate throughout SoulSeek; drukqs spread like
wildfire and that MonkeyDrummer DVD RIP I did was on loads
of machines within a couple of days...God, I love SS..;)..

& No need to feel guilty about dling it..I'm def gonna buy
it anyway; MP3's like these just make a nice preview & get
a vibe going for the release anyway...

And you'll never get away from the fact there's something
very aestectically pleasing about holding a AE CD/LP in your
hand...they are like little works of art...I really rate
them designwise as well as musically...

Fucking hell.

I had those mp3's for 6 months.

They didn't get leaked because of me... I am sure.

I wish people could keep their fucking lid on these things
:(

Altho I take full responsibility for the premature leakage
of aleamapper... so I guess I can't get too angry. I have to
say this is a myte bit discouraging.

but people will still buy regardless of leaked MP3s...CD
Sales went up dramatically in the heyday of Napster; they
are down at the moment but this is mainly due to the general
economic climate rather than any little file sharing system
taking over from CDs...

& I think MP3s are the best form of advertising ever....if I
dl something and I like it, I end up buying it...it's very
seldom I'll buy anything without hearing it on MP3 first; I
think thats true of most IDM listeners; we understand that
artists have to eat etc. so don't mind paying to support
them....

I really wish we could do without the middle-man of record
companies - they seem to be pretty pointless nowadays in
their current form.....being able to pay money directly to
an artist for tracks/CDs directly seems to be the way to
go....

until then I'll keep on happily dling stuff from SS et al,
and then buy the stuff that deserves support....works for
me, works for the artists...

Its not the fact that they are illegal formats of music that
bother me. Its the fact that I actually spent time trying to
trade these mp3s, looking for shit for the guy that had them
, and talking to people to get the stuff that he wanted. Now
that the mp3's are leaked, they are absolutely worthless for
any further trading. I am not infuriated or anything, its
just kind of discouraging.

When things get Digital & allow infinite perfect copying,
why bother with all that "You Give me This & I'll Give You
That" swapping lark....seems kinda old-fashioned...I can see
it's appropriate for stuff in the physical world like CDs or
Vinyl but in the digital world with MP3s and the like, why
bother?...

Well, unreleased mp3's can get you a lot of things. There is
an entire economy of unreleased music and cracked software
out there.

Its not like I didn't give them to a few people I trusted.
And it's not like I wasn't going to leak them into soulseek
in due time. Its just this was a bit earlier than I was
expecting, and it was more of a shock than anything else. An
unpleasant one, but things don't always turn out as planned.

I have never heard them live.

I think the tracks are great , cool beats and fx.
The only complaint is that all three tracks sound so high
pitched ,but that can be fixed hehe!!

The new E.P. is well.........disappointing ! Sorry. I really
loved Confield but this, seems just like an accumulation
from old Confield samples, thrown mindlessly toghter, no
progression no new Ideas no new Nuthing. It kind sounds like
"Greenways Trajectory" by SQ ! I wish theyd spend more time
on it.

yeah! the EP is a bit crap, confield was better. and why
only 3 tracks??

i think they're up to somthing.

oh and by the way i thought 'cap.iv' was supossed to be like
12 mins long? on that address posted above the whole file is
only 9.02.

AND: on the absorb.org review it says at the beginning of
gantz graf is a 4sec space before the music comes in...

on the mp3 above it is only like 0.75 secs....

i think the stuff on the net is all fake or outtakes or
something.

they're up to the same thing they've been up to for the past
decade. it's a conclusion to confield and a prelude to the
next album :D

cap.iv sounds like lentic catachresis all over again to me
(not that that's bad) i think it's definately autechre.

but i don't think the ep is as melodic as the review said it
would be. i guess we'll have to wait for official sound
snippets to be sure.

i like the atmosphere, but it's not an ep you understand
after 1 or 2 or 3 listens, i think......

It will probably take some time for me to warm up to it,
like ANY Autechre... so far, I like all three tracks, but I
don't really LOVE them... that might change, it did with
Confield. Dial has a really annoying melody at times,
though.
