When I made this song, no one listened to it. I think its
some quality work, and quite frankly I lucked out for my
talents as of NOW. {iam learning a lot as I go on, and know
that one day - If I keep working this hard, I shall be up
there among the ranks.. one day in the future}.

PLEASE - check out this song I made, its not even my newest
one. Its named "Her Soft Rain" and its on my website
thanks.

I Mean I dont want people to lie, I would like feedback.
personally I love this song. My girlfriend.. who it was
pretty much made for likes it too. It reminds us both of
summer rain.. which is the greatest. Warm summer nights
layin in bed... or out in the dark having a smoke... with
your thoughts..... rain.

I really dont want to make people listen to it becuase I may
think im a great artist or something. I just want to share,
if there was a point where I was good enough to make a demo,
I wouldnt share it...

I am listening to it for a third time now, and I have to say
that its the music I like... Beat is great, synth is great
the raining effect really 'makes' the track and I also love
it when it fades...

I like it, the rain/static effect is cool. I don't know how
much money you have but it would sound so much better if you
had a real String section to play it. It's really cheap to
hire east European Orchestras and they're quite good, it
would cost you a few thousand pounds to get the whole thing
recorded.

Thanks for the feedback.

raimons: I think that sound, sounds great. You just seem to
be a downer on it, thats ok I guess - its your opinion.
Mostly everyone ive talked to likes that, it doesnt need to
sound real, if it did id get the samples off the net, or in
real life.

hey reflex,
i like it A LOT...

..BEFORE the drums come in.. ur right it captures the rainy
feeling perfectly, i really like the thunder sounds too,
they sound really cool
but then when the beats come in.... hmmmmm... well at first
i dont like them, they dont seem to fit in with the rest of
the song
but then later on i like them more, maybe they just take
getting used to

..or maybe it would be nicer if they didn't come in quite so
abruptly.. like they faded in, then built up slowly..

overall though, i like it a lot!
especially the rain and thunder sounds, and that gentle
background synth

Aminal: thanks a lot friend! I was thinking about changing
it a bit and perfecting it to a perfect song.... by fading
in and out the drums and some other stuff.. I appreciate the
feedback.

Just had a listen at work....couldn't get the download to
work at all so just stream played em which seemed to work
ok...

Are all 3 tracks on their the same?... as they all come out
the same on my machine...(using Winamp to stream...)...

Don't really know what I think....didn't really strike me
one way or the other; I think I've heard too much of this
sort of music (you know, lazy synths, loopy drums with beats
on the 2 & 4...)...and my mind ain't that interested
anymore...

Didn't really understand the randomy bit where it all breaks
down at around 3:00 from the end....some of that felt as if
you were just farting around with sounds without any thought
behind it; I'd work a bit more on that bit....(& don't
bother bringing the same cheesy tune back in after that;
it's a "nice" little theme but a bit overused throughout the
track...perhaps take it to another place...)...

Keep up the good work...I've got right odd taste in music so
don't take my words too seriously...

I did wonder as I didn't really hear anything Rain-like in
it...glad I'm not going deaf after all...;)..

Can't really comment on the others as thats the only song
that comes thru regardsless of what link I press...

Is the one I heard one of your other tracks then, Ref?..

jand: yeah.... I have about 7 songs all together I really
kept and like... so i kept them... {duh!} but uh..... yeah
there are about 2 of them that I really like and would keep
from the other 7.... the rain one and this other one I have
on my computer now. Iam learning more everytime I finish a
song.... try again later... I dunno... the title I wanted
you to hear with rain is "Her Soft Rain".

ok...will give it another try when I get home tonight...

You should get yourself some webspace & a domain...they
aren't that expensive anymore (probably < $10 a month)...it
would save all this mucking around with Zebox or MP3.COM...

Yay...managed to get it to download...

but I'm afraid it didn't do anything for me...(I did like
the thunder noise bit...would have liked to hear a huge AE
style mechanical rhythm developed out of that...)...the
strings n rain seemed a bit random & noodly and the beat is,
ahem, well....shit...

overall I'd say, don't give up the day job...

(you can see why I hate giving opinions on stuff people
produce...but you did ask for honest opinions...I'm so shit
at being polite about these things...)...

Checkout Moby's Ambient album if you wanna hear this sort of
stuff done well...much as I hate Moby, that album does have
some very moving bits of ambient piano/strings with layered
enviromental sounds - I think "The Rain pours and the Sky
Shudders" (or something like that) is the one you should
have a listen to...

yeah, it might well have been...

Bside of one of his early singles just after GO, I think...
totally beautiful song...lots of reverbed piano playing
somple motifs, (real) Rain sounds (from a city, I think, as
it had car horns & noises in it as well)....

yay...just checked the web and found this..http://www.moby.org/reviews/move.html
.... it's the MOVE EP this track is on...
