I just watched it. I respun series 1 in prep, man I love
this show.

I think I will have to read the books. I may get one a month
to save smashing them too quickly. I've held off reading em
to enjoy the series and it's twists instead but... it'll be
fucking yeeeears that way. Plus I always feel like I'm
missing small, cool incidental stuff.

I'm not enjoying the book very much. I really think the
series is better. Of course the book(s) explain a *bit*
more. But they don't have the great acting (and they do
have, for a literature reader like me, a lot of stock
characters).

Interesting. I'm not a big fan of fantasy fiction so maybe I
won't think much of it either. My sister has the first one,
I'll nab it off her and see if I like it, then maybe carry
on if I do.

gingaling: I'm not sure what meat they eat. Maybe only
Joffrey's cock?

I read the book and loved them, I was slightly disappointing
with the lack of boobs in the first episode of this season.

I'm not that far in the book, but it seems to me they added
a lot more sex to the series. Since the series is perfect,
that's good, compensates the violence.

010101:
Episode two (yes, it's available already) has A LOT of
sexus.

You're an idiot. You're trying to be trendy by avoiding the
so called trendy. You probably don't even realise it. You
absolute massive mong! You're bound to be a youngling. It's
the only excuse i can find for such stupid behaviour. Don't
punish yourself because of others! Watch things and then
judge them. Eejit!!

Gingaling: Yeah best not check things out if they're
"cool".

You're all fucking ridiculous. Get some balls. It's fine to
like things even though you think it makes you a part of the
masses. Fucking idiot behaviour!!

"shows i wont watch because i have a chip on my shoulder

[game of thrones]
[the wire]
[the walking dead]
[breaking bad]"

Crying shame, that. Had they not been trendy, no doubt you
would have been telling everyone you know, that they are
excellent.

I recommend Two and a Half Men, that should be more than
shit enough for you to love now. Maybe even try watching
Dynasty, it's been an awful long time since people liked
that.

Game of thrones is brilliant! I wish i just had all the
seasons in one go though. Im so impatient when episodes
just leave you open mouthed at the end, you just want to go
on & find out! Not wait 7 days!!! :-)

Patience is a vertue they say.... hehe

rr martin has said he told the show's writers how the story
ends, in case he dies before writing his books

i'm nervous i'll die, for some reason, before the series
ends

I found the beginning of this season to be a little on the
slow side actually, but the past few episodes have been very
entertaining. You definitely get that sense of rising
action.

I apologize

I put the two AMC shows on there because I've seen both and
didnt think they lived up to the hype.

as for HBO, all i ever do is catch previews, and for my
money Weeds looked far more entertaining than aNOTHER cop
show.

So yes, i am basing my expectations of Game of Thrones on it
being trendy.

I believe you should watch things before having an opinion.
Previews? Come on!

Weeds got boring after i while i thought.
