do something

do something because...the world is changing a lot.
you might want to relax and forget about it all - but its
you VERSUS the future.
define the future. please defend your beliefes. do not
become complacent. do not allow yourself to accept what is
actually SHIT. protect your ego. fight for your reality and
keep the cunts out. do not fold under the zeitgeist of
apathy and malaise. if you fade and let the new world
replace you, you are going to have so many regrets

also i totally hate footwork now. sry
i found it to be a refreshing sound and i really did try and
pretend it wouldnt end up turning completely fag, but it's
moving into 'post' pretty hard and i just cant stand the
smell of it being on me.

The future is not some place we are going to but one we are
creating. The paths are not to be found, but made, and the
activity of making them changes both the maker and the
destination.

John Schaar

When it comes to the future, there are three kinds of
people: those who let it happen, those who make it happen,
and those on WATMM that wonder what happened.

Me (Partly)

sigh. it might of been hard to be virtuous, pure, clean, ect
but non of it was as soul shrinkingly crap as having to be
cool. if it's christian guilt we're still trying to get
over, we are doing it in the worst possible way and i dont
think there's anything to laugh about so we should all be
very serious

The first bit got sucked off!

The future is not a result of choices among alternative
paths offered by the present, but a place that is
created--created first in the mind and will, created next in
activity. The future is not some place we are going to, but
one we are creating. The paths are not to be found, but
made, and the activity of making them, changes both the
maker and the destination.

never pull of playing a true Scott, look at him now, he's a
racist alcoholic.

lol

Everyone believes the relatively meaningless decimal system
number in their bank account is the main leverage to perform
action, and it has so much historic precedent being so. But
now monopoly men have taken almost all our leverage. They're
even going after the few of us who managed to find a way to
make money like kim dotcom. Perhaps it would take
unfathomable cooperation from the masses to stop believing
in, and dealing in modern currency units to make the scrooge
mcduck hordes held by the ruling elite have no leverage.
Even that wouldn't help because they've already spent a lot
of it, mabe even the majority, on military crap that has
real political leverage.

the cunts are cutting paths thru all things because they
were given lots of confidence by people like steve jobs and

probably also because people like us dont tell them they are

cunts often enough.
oh shit wmw the people u are talking about are completely
differnt. they r psychopaths and squares that learnt how to

profit off our shitty predictable human attitudes. we
thought we were winning cos we escaped the systems crushing
sense of duty by wearing fucked up clothes and making
loudsexfight music, but then they just sold it back to us.
which of course is easy to do cos we like to buy
loudsexfight stuff.
also 'they' have always been there. i think it's just been a
horrid time recently cos we've played very much into their
hands. im angry at this not at them

A friend of mine has a degree in folkloristics and knows all
sorts about how all these simple tales get passed down with
a simple, honest, most of the time scary short story.

stories are the most important thing in the world.
one of the things i have against the new era of science and
numbers is that it cant understand or account for human
story telling. science cant even quantify why we want to
tell or hear stories. science can fuck off for a little bit
maybe.

I agree, short stories especially as it gives lots of leeway
for the listener to get the idea not the empirical formulae.
"Dwarfs standing on the shoulders of giants", I'm going to
stop with this quoting crap but I like them though.

its funny cos something like "Dwarfs standing on the
shoulders of giants", cant be quantified by science in the
way a human mind can endlessly read upon it. science: youre
alright man but can we have god back please?

the future is status quo, and i think bills like SOPA show
that. its like a horrible game in which you try to make a
better future for yourself, but the only way that can happen
is if you join together in vast numbers and become a
majority. So you look around yourself and see that most
other people either dont agree or dont see it the way you
see it, or you cant communicate it to them. so the
governments are given a blank check to slash away at
freedoms. aging is just realizing that you have to hope that
at some point in the future people will be forced to
change.

i think this is why i have children.

Lately I have been participating in a facebook group called
Celebrating Creation by Natural Selection. It is a group of
Theistic Evolutionists and even some atheists and others who
are all about helping Young Earth Creationists see that
evolution is true and is compatible with faith, especially
if Genesis is taken somewhat allegorically as many of the
ancients did.

This may or may not be relevant at all to this thread.

but I don't have anyone on my friends list who really plays
Halo so whats the point?

there are a lot of Capital Letters in there which usually
scares me off this kind of thing but it sounds interesting
have you got any idea of how many of these kind of grey area
movements are happening? i feel like the grey area might be
what this century is about and im particularly fascinated
with religion/philosophy meeting with science

I'm just using title caps because I think society wants
that, but maybe they don't.

I am fascinated with it also. I feel like we are kind of in
our own Galileo moment with science, religion and
philosophy. There are a lot of movements right now, you are
right.

quake (yes it's still going) but i cant give up music. i
keep thinking of rediculous ways to bring it together but
it's beyond what i can do. i considered contacting one the
most prolific quake map builders of the 90's to construct a
bunch of maps for me to release alongside some musics but
cant get hold of him and dont hav any money to actually make
him do what i want so it's an idea that cant quite happen.

let's face it the world has gotten too complex to be
understood, whatever you do when you fight for your beliefs,
you actually have no idea what you're doing. you're fighting
for a future that will not happen, the unexpected having
more influence than our most accurate plans. we can change
the world, but not the way we want.
i just let you do it while i watch the spectacular nature of
things :)
