My girlfriend lives the other side of the city from me and I don't want her to have to be walking home or hanging around at stations at night alone all the time. What options are there? I was going to suggest either - every time she stays at mine or I get a car: difficult not least given all the costs here and congestion charge.
Has anybody else experienced the same or am I worrying too much?

marry her, she will live in your house, and maybe she will even wash your dishes and socks for you, but whats most important - you can forget about escorting her home at nights)
problem solved

Is there any point in closing these threads? Will Phobiazero start to receive stern e-mails?
To quote "Down The Line": what is point?
